Story
A few years ago, my wife and I committed to getting our phones out of our bedroom and taking our sleep seriously. But I still needed an alarm clock.
I wanted something simple -- a tactile timepiece that would last a lifetime and sound amazing, without WiFi or Bluetooth. I searched everywhere for a modern analog clock that would wake me up with beautiful music, but I couldn’t find it, so I made it.

The best solution for a happy wake-up
My husband and I shopped endlessly for a low-tech alarm clock that could help us separate our phones from our sleeping experience. We didn't want a traditional one with the shrill alarm, but we didn't want a high-tech one that connected to your phone and had nicer alarm sound options. So when we found OneClock, we knew it was the one! It looks beautiful, the music is beautiful, and it does one thing exceptionally well - wakes us up happily.

Beautiful old school design
While this clock is pricey, I like the old school design yet it is beautifully designed and has many different gentle tones as to not startle one upon waking. The sound increases gradually and it makes for a wonderful way to start the day.

I bought the OneClock because I hate waking up and I hoped it would help - and it did! I'm very happy with my purchase. The only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is because it's hard to rely on for your only alarm for important stuff because it's easy to mess up. For example, one night I was reading a pretty hefty book before bed, and I put it down on my nighstand and went to bed. The next morning my alarm didn't go off because the book pressed the alarm button off when bumping into the clock. Every time the alarm has messed up, it's operator error and not the clock's fault, but it still would make me set a backup for things I absolutely can't mess up. But, despite this one issue, I love it. I used this purchase as the motivation to stop using my phone in my bedroom and it has definitely improved my sleep as a result.
